平成22年5月11日、ＮＰＯ法人「世界の子供にワクチンを」ＪＣＶの新井事務局長を当院にお招きして活動を紹介していただきました。これをきっかけに、院内でペットボトルのキャップを収集する活動を開始しました。
ワクチン支援のみならず、二酸化炭素削減、障がい施設からのお礼などもいただいています。昨年末には第一回目のキャップ実績レポートをいただきました。
今後も活動を続けていきたいと思います。
Vaccine supports to the children in developing countries by collecting pet bottle caps
Mr. Arai from JCV (Japan Committee Vaccines for the World’s Children) lectured its activities at Yotsukaido Tokushukai Hospital on 11 May, 2010. Impressed by his speech and beautiful smile of children, we have started to collect pet bottle caps at our hospital.
The caps are going to turn into plastic products and earn the money, which contributes to vaccines for children in developing countries. By escaping burning, caps collection also contributes to CO2 reduction. The third contribution is the salary for disabled people, who work for removing other than plastic caps such as aluminum caps.

国際協力部ではペットボトルキャップを回収し、45ℓのゴミ袋10袋分以上のキャップが集まった段階でNPO法人「キャップの貯金箱推進ネットワーク」へ提供いたします。
この活動は同団体を通して、3つの社会貢献につながっています。
